MISSION STATEMENT
Through the acknowledgments of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord our purpose is to share the good news of Jesus Christ; to love and minister to all people; to nurture spiritual growth for believers under the direction of the Holy Spirit through worship, prayer, Bible Study, and fellowship.

 BASIC BELIEFS
This church is a congregation of baptized believers in Christ united by covenant to worship Almighty God; associate in the faith and the fellowship of His gospel; practice the precepts of the gospel; recognize and receive Jesus Christ as the Son of God and as the supreme lawgiver and ruler; and take the Bible as the standard by which all matters of belief and conduct are to be tried.
The established ordinances of this church are the ordinance of Baptism by immersion and the ordinance of the Lord's Supper as ordained and commanded by Jesus Christ. As our statement of faith, we therefore adopt and commend to each believer the doctrinal statements contained in the pamphlet entitled "The Baptist Faith and Message"; adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on June 14,2000.

CHURCH COVENANT
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of Goel, and this Assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body of Christ. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrine; to contribute unselfishly and regularly to the support of the ministry and the expenses of the church, and the relief of those in need and the spread of the gospel throughout all the nations. We also engage to maintain family and personal devotions; to bring up our children in the nurture and admonition of our Lord: to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just and fair in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment; to strive to set a Christ-like example to those we encounter; to treat our body as a temple of the Holy Spirit in all our actions; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the Kingdom of our Savior. We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay. Moreover, we engage that as soon as is possible after we remove from this place we will unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word.
